Dr. Hebe Diaz provides comprehensive, continuous obstetric care from the moment of pregnancy confirmation through delivery and into postpartum recovery. She is committed to guiding patients through each stage of pregnancy with personalized attention, education, and support to help ensure a safe and positive experience for both mother and baby. Her care includes routine prenatal monitoring, individualized birth planning, and ongoing education so patients know what to expect as their pregnancy progresses.
She delivers at Singing River Hospital in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Dr. Diaz is bilingual, allowing her to effectively care for both English- and Spanish-speaking patients. In addition to medical care, she emphasizes postpartum support, including recovery guidance, breastfeeding education/resources, and screening for postpartum mood changes to help support overall well-being during the transition after delivery. Please note that she does not offer VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean), and her practice has a patient weight limit of 250 lbs to support safe maternal care.

Pregnancy Confirmation & Early Prenatal Care
If you have a positive pregnancy test, please schedule your appointment as soon as possible to begin early prenatal care. Your first visit will include an initial workup with our nursing staff, followed by a second appointment where you will meet with Dr. Diaz to continue your care.

Routine Prenatal Visits
Routine prenatal visits include standard testing, screenings, and ultrasound imaging as covered by your insurance. Most plans cover three ultrasounds: an initial transvaginal ultrasound at your first appointment with Dr. Diaz, a fetal anatomy scan at 18–20 weeks, and a follow-up at 32 weeks. Appointments are typically scheduled every 4 weeks until 28 weeks, then at 31, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39 and 40 weeks.

Screening and Management of Complications
We provide comprehensive screening and management for gestational diabetes and preeclampsia to help ensure a healthy pregnancy. This includes routine testing, close monitoring, and personalized care plans to support both mother and baby every step of the way.

The prices listed are for Dr. Hebe Diaz’s professional services for cash-pay patients only. These do not include separate hospital or anesthesia fees. Please contact Singing River Hospital directly to obtain an estimate for your delivery-related facility costs.
If you are using insurance, we kindly encourage you to reach out to your insurance provider in advance to understand your specific benefits, coverage, and any out-of-pocket responsibility related to prenatal care and delivery.

Your initial pregnancy confirmation visit will be conducted with our nursing staff. During this appointment, laboratory testing will be completed so results are available for review at your first visit with Dr. Diaz. The cost of this visit is $500.
*If you are on your parent’s insurance, you may not have maternity coverage. Please confirm with your insurance carrier.
